Serge Ginger. Female Brain and Male Brain

The article of a famous gestalt therapist Serge Ginger is devoted to a problem of a male and female brain. The author shows, that sex differences concerning features of sensation, perception, time and space orientation etc., are caused by domination of one of two brain hemispheres: left at women and right at men. The article contains the interesting data about evolutionary theory, heredity of sex, biochemistry of hormones, and practically important applications of these data for psychotherapy.

Eberhard Scheiffele. Alterations of Consciousness During Psychodrama and Sociodrama

Psychodrama and Sociodrama participants in general and protagonists in particular often report that during a session their conscious experience is altered. Many are in fact drawn to experiential methods by their desire for this experience of heightened awareness. Psychodrama will be seen as altering most of the 14 dimensions of changed subjective experience that characterize altered states of consciousness. Psychodramatists need to be aware of both the dangers and benefits of experiencing altered states. As in hypnosis, the director needs to be especially careful not to elicit false memories or make strong suggestions.

N. V. Semilet. Values of Images-Symbols and Psychodrama

In article an examples of subjective values of images that symbolize certain events, processes of life and death are analyzed. Concrete cases of psychodrama sessions, polysemantic quality of images-symbols are considered depending on situation, context etc. The reasons of occurrence of fear of water and probable effects of a psychodrama are investigated.

P. P. Gornostay. Conversation with Fromm or Merlin Monroe's Dance

Personality resources frequently are blocked. For their disclosing we use various psychotherapeutic methods, one of these variants is offered in this article. The author studies interrelation of resources and psychological barriers, analyzes a problem of external and internal sources of personality resources. Case study of psychodrama practice, which illustrates use of resource roles of "cultural conserves", is considered in article.

E. B. Avgust. Stones on the Life Way: Psychodrama with Unemployed Persons

Under conditions of social and cultural transformation the life abounds with various crisis situations. A loss or a search for a job is serious ordeal in time of unstable labor market. Development of individual personality traits (responsibility and ability for creative solutions in crisis conditions) often determinate a successful solution of the problem. Psychodrama allows unique resources for individual personality traits development for unemployed persons. We use psychodrama methods for individual stirring up of personality resources and personality integration for our unemployed clients, who differ in they age and social status.

FEPTO: Minimal Training Standards {PDF}

In paper the proposal of Minimal training standards of psychodrama, offered for members of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO) is described. The project is published for discussion by members of FEPTO with the purpose of improvement and the subsequent statement. It includes the minimal quantitative and qualitative training programs requirements and the Guidelines proposal.
