Summaries

A. Blatner. Theoretical Foundations of Psychodrama

The theoretical foundations of psychodrama have evolved and deepened in the last generation. The theories and methods should be viewed as part of a broader theory of psychotherapy, the nature of development and change and what makes for help and psychotherapy. A good understanding of psychodrama should also include other sources other than Moreno's own writings. On the other hand, Moreno's ideas and their elaboration by others in the field offer ideas that can inform and deepen the larger fields of psychology and psychotherapy. Among these include Moreno's approach to role theory and how it's been systematically developed by others, including the author.

Joseph Moreno. Double Vision: Moreno and Dostoevsky

The psychodramatical double may both provide the protagonist with a positive role model, and harm, if he is doing everything only for his own good. The author reflects on positive and negative potential of the double basing on the example of the Dostoevsky's novel The Double where the history of titular counsellor Golyadkin and his own double that rivaled him is described. This double had all the needed spontaneity that the protagonist lacked, but instead of supporting the hero of novel he was superseded by the double from all his social roles and has ultimately been driven to madness.

P. P. Gornostay. Personality and Time: Creation as Experience

The problem of time in personality psychology is one of the most complex and interesting ones. The author considers a category of personal time from existentialist positions, in relation with categories "value", "experience", "life world" etc. Great consideration is given to the analysis of subjective dimensions of personal time, to imaginary components of the life world that are being built by person's creativity. One of the basic mechanisms of construction of subjective personality time and harmonization of the life world is role experience. In the article value-and-time-related forms of existential frustration and variants of exit out of them with the help of creative therapy and psychodrama are considered.

S. O. Smolnikova. Culturological Analysis of Children's Game: Search of Psychotherapeutic Resource

The article is devoted to the research of a game, as the element of culture. Any culture and any subculture have psychotherapeutic resource. From this viewpoint the analysis of games is very interesting. The author studies plots, symbols, and roles of games and distinguishes four stages of development of the game n the Client-Centered Play therapy. The change of plots and motives in the games provides the material for diagnostics of emotional condition of the child and monitoring the outcomes of the therapy. The study of a child's game is a key moment of investigation of psychotherapeutic resource of culture.

S. M. Mishurova. Role Plays with "Children of War"

In the article, the work of children's psychologist in the program of rehabilitation of children who has lost both parents in military and interethnic conflicts is described. Work is based on the natural communication with wildlife and acquaintance with historical and cultural heritage of the native land. Concrete cases of psychodramatical sessions are studied. The use of role plays awakens children's interest for the discovering of the environment, fixes the received impressions, and translates them into internal experience. In the free-of-stress playful surrondings of the symbolic reality, children could speak out about their own problems, needs and desires, to activate their personal resources, to promote group consolidation and to replace the consumer's attitude to the help coming from outside for cooperation.

R. A. Zolotovitsky. Role of Metaphor in Teambuilding

The author analyzes tradition of "teambuilding" in Russia and improvises with metaphors of group, both useful, and harmful. Examples of harmful myths and metaphors: any unity is aiming at only organizational efficiency, the purpose is achievable, the group can be directed (actually it is possible to direct only an organization), the team is a head And a group of the heads subordinated to him, etc. And the most dangerous myth - the myth about the leader, because "leader" is only an empty sound which is meaningless without the concrete situation formed by sociometric criterion, it is not a universal role at all, but a role from the western dramatic art. The author is not afraid of the sharpest dilemmas and collisions of the modern administrative practice: competence and loyalty, eastern and western tradition of group communication, legitimacy and impromptu of the authorities. The best group metaphor is a Theatre, and the author is working with all of this at organizational sociodrama theatre.
